Memorial Day usually marks the unofficial official start of summer. Often celebrated with picnics and parades, it is a time to remember those who gave the ultimate sacrifice for the freedom we now enjoy. Memorial Day helps me rejoice in the sacrifice of Jesus to free me “from the law of sin and death” (Romans 8:2). Therefore, I face “no condemnation” on the day of judgment (Romans 8:1). Our prayer is that you too have been freed from the law of sin and death by continually turning from sin and trusting Jesus for your salvation. I hope that you are using your freedom in America to share this good news with everyone you meet.

We are continuing our adventures in the Colorado mountains, capturing some good video footage. Please pray that we'll be able to organize and use these videos in a way that effectively reveals Christ and clearly shares the Gospel. We pray for you all regularly, and we would love to hear how you are doing and how we can pray specifically for each one of you.

It’s simple: God is holy and just. That means He must punish sin. Because we have all broken God’s Law, we are sinners who deserve God’s wrath. God’s punishment for sin is eternal death in Hell. But because He loves you, He became a Man—Jesus-- and died on the Cross to be punished instead of you. Then, Jesus was buried and rose again alive into Heaven! To receive this gift of eternal life, you must repent (turn from your sin) and trust in Jesus’ sacrifice to save you from God’s wrath against your sin.
