Watercolor sea lion, information about habits of sea lions

The sea lion is a medium-sized mammal that lives in subarctic and tropical waters in all oceans except the North Atlantic. Sea lions grow to about 10 feet long and reach weights of up to 2,200 lbs. Sea lions can swim from 18 mph to 35 mph and can stay under water from 10-20 minutes. The sea lion is aggressive and will sometimes attack humans, but it usually eats squid, crabs, clams, seals, and fish, such as mackerel and pollock. Its main predators are sharks and killer whales. A sea lion’s vocalizations include barks, honks, and roars. These sounds can be heard from very far away.

We should be doing this, too, proclaiming the Gospel to the ends of the earth (Matthew 28:18-20).

It’s simple: God is holy and just. That means He must punish sin. Because we have all broken God’s Law, we are sinners who deserve God’s wrath. God’s punishment for sin is eternal death in Hell. But because He loves you, He became a Man—Jesus-- and died on the Cross to be punished instead of you. Then, Jesus was buried and rose again alive into Heaven! To receive this gift of eternal life, you must repent (turn from your sin) and trust in Jesus’ sacrifice to save you from God’s wrath against your sin.
